Who are these men called knights?

The purpose of the Knights of Columbus is to promote the moral, intellectual and spiritual development of the future leaders of civil society, the Order, and the Church through witness to the Gospel and dedication to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

We always welcome men who seek to grow deeper in their faith through service to their church and community and doing it standing next to their fellow brothers in Christ. 

To be eligible for membership into the Knights of Columbus, you must be a male, at least 18 years of age, a practicing Catholic in union with the Holy See, and accept the teaching authority of the Catholic Church on matters of faith and morals, aspire to live in accord with the precepts of the Catholic Church, and are in good standing.
